We were proud to once again host the British Hop Awards, a competition to find the best hop sample in the UK.
Expert judges joined together in our sampling room to find the best of the best from nearly 200 British hop samples based on a number of factors.
The judges are looking for a well presented sample, free from disease and bests, it’s trueness to the variety type, and the quality of the aroma.
In it’s 75th year, the British Hop Awards have awarded generations of British hop growers for their efforts in producing quality samples from varieties both old and new.
The category awards will be announced later today and the overall winner award will be presented at a ceremony in the new year.
