A Noble hop, Hallertau Mittelfrüh is the traditional Hallertau variety, it is widely planted although its acreage is gradually decreasing due to disease.The archtypal German aroma hop, Mittelfrüh has a delicate aroma profile.Mittelfrüh is susceptible to Verticillium Wilt and is no longer planted in Wilt threatened areas. It has average resistance to Downy and Powdery Mildew. As it’s name suggests, Mittelfrüh matures medium to late season.
