Hop Variety Description

Bred by the New Zealand Horticultural Research Center and released in 1976, it was renamed Dr. Rudi in 2012 after its breeder Dr. Rudi Roborgh. Provides an excellent bitterness and works well as an aroma variety where resinous, citrus and pine characters are required. Matures mid season. All New Zealand hops are disease free.
