Hallertau Tradition was bred by the Hop Research Center Hüll in 1993 as a disease resistant alternative to Mittelfrüh. Tradition is the most widely grown German aroma variety. A brewers favourite, Tradition is a delicate aroma hop that can find a home in both lager and ale styles. An early to mid-season hop producing tight cone structures of medium size which produce good yields.
