Every year, Charles Faram develops secret experimental hop plots to discover unique, aromatic hop varieties. This process usually takes around five years, yet your insight can help fast-track promising hops and speed up progress.

What DOES 2026 have in store?

In 2026, we are launching the new and improved AromaFest® Plus. Brewers will enjoy a fresh chance to explore exciting new hop varieties and taste trial results early. You will also meet the suppliers behind the ingredients that transform exceptional beers. Moreover, each venue will serve great beer, giving you time to connect, learn, and share ideas. Every AromaFest® Plus event will include a special one-off brew made with hops from the Charles Faram Hop Development Programme and ingredients from our trusted partners.

This is a rare opportunity to assess early trial hops and help identify strong candidates for further development. Your feedback shapes the future of UK hops. As a result, you support the creation of disease-resistant, high-yield plants with vibrant flavours suited to modern beer styles.

This free event includes food, drinks, and time to meet other fellow growers. You can also connect with the Charles Faram team, socialise with fellow brewers, and speak directly with our suppliers.
