Hop Variety Description

Created as a result of a cross between Hallertau Mittlefrüh and a New Zealand Male. In 2011 it was released by the New Zealand Plant and Food Research hop breeding program.A true dual-purpose variety, Kohatu® provides very clean bitterness and mild tropical aromatics. Kohatu® has a early to mid season maturity. All New Zealand hops are disease free.
