Aroma and Flavour Profile of the Brewers Gold Hop

Brewers Gold hops are best known for their assertive and layered aroma. They offer aroma notes of lemon, spice and blackcurrant on the rub. While in the beer, flavour notes of wood, floral and spice can be found within the beer. These hops are often used in English ales, German lagers, and robust porters. With alpha acids ranging from 5% – 9%, Brewers Gold hops provide strong, clean bitterness without harsh edges.

Brewing with Brewers Gold

Added later, they bring forward bold fruit and spice flavours. Additionally, Brewers Gold pairs well with traditional hops like Fuggle, Goldings, and Perle.
