Faram Finale: The HopWalk® On Tour

Join us for the 2026 HopWalk® on Tour. This year brings new farms, new hop varieties, and plenty of innovation, with the same great atmosphere!

This intimate, hop-filled road trip includes a tour of the Charles Faram facility, with updates from our quality duo, Tim and Jim, plus visits to two hop farms, each showcasing their own varieties, growing techniques, and hoppy expertise.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early and choose from one of four dates this September.

After all that exploring and a posh nosh Hoppy Meal picnic, we bring everyone back to The Faram’s Arms pop-up pub for hop showcase beers and some dinner!

It’s a chance to catch up with our supplier partners, network and mingle with the Faram’s team, celebrate the harvest, and share our love for what we do and who we are.

Confirmations and info pack

Confirmations will be sent automatically after you submit your registration. Sometimes your confirmation may appear in your junk folder. If it is not there please contact us.

Order collections – THE HOPWALK ® ON TOUR

If you would like to collect an order for brewing ingredients and brewing aids while you are in the area you can do so. It’s the same setup as usual for UK collections in that your orders must be in by 10:00 the day before. Collections can only be made from Charles Faram, Monksfield Lane and between 09:00 and 16:30.  With the staff at the HopWalk®, we are unable to be flexible on this.

WHY GREEN HOPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE HOPWALK® ON TOUR

The green hops and bines are available as usual by ordering through the sales team. If you give the team a call or email they will be happy to advise you on what varieties are available (subject to receiving the picking schedule, and mother nature), and arrange to get them delivered to you within 24hours of picking.

Green hops and bines are not available for purchase and collection at the HopWalk® on tour event for the following reasons:

  • GREEN HOPS – the Charles Faram team are required to pick and pack the green hops in the morning. This was doable when we were situated on one farm on one day. Now that the event is across multiple days with shorter visits to multiple locations, it’s not logistically viable.
  • HOP BINES – the hop bines are sold on the farm by the farm. As our visit is short and a walking tour over 5 days, the disruption to the harvesting, potential wastage and logistical arrangements does not make this viable.
  • TRANSPORTATION – as the event is a coach tour, there is no way for you to transport your green hops and bines from the farm back to your vehicle. The event finish of 18:30 also delays any brewing schedule for that evening significantly.

Pets and children on the hop walk

We are unable to allow pets or under 18’s as this is a business event, on a working food farm with unsupervised access to beer.

Clothing for a hop walk

As we’re in fields on a farm during the hop walk please dress accordingly. Wear layers, and no loose clothing around machinery. If it’s hot bring a hat. Bring wellies and umbrellas. Ensure your footwear is clean.

Your new best white trainers are not recommended.

We strive to ensure a productive and insightful programme. Therefore, we implement a cancellation charge of £60 (Ex. VAT) a week leading to the event and a no-show charge of £60 (Ex. VAT) for non-attendance on the day.
