UPDATE.....
Local motocross superstar: Gemma Holtham’s 2022 Season
Gemma Holtham, the local motocross superstar, truly impressed fans in 2022. She competed in the Adult Ladies class of the BWMA British Women’s Motocross Championship. The field was full, with 36 riders aiming for the Elite Ladies Pro-Class and the chance to represent Team GB livemotocross.com.
Worcester Motocross Star in Elite Class
As the season progressed, Gemma rose to the challenge. She raced consistently at Brookthorpe and Lower Drayton. For example, at Brookthorpe, she battled Naomi Dolby, and despite a fall, she still secured 2nd in race 3 Dirt Hub. Later, at Lower Drayton, she delivered a standout performance by finishing 2nd in the final race and ultimately secured 2nd in the National Championship—just seconds behind the winner Dirt Hub.
Motocross Sponsorship and National Recognition
Moreover, sponsorships and recognition played a role. LA Motor Company offered a prize fund of £3,000 for Pro-Class riders, and Team GB insight added stakes to each race livemotocross.com. Gemma’s Elite-Class position and strong results hint at considerable Motocross Sponsorship and support from local sponsors, such as Charles Faram.
Why Her Story Matters
Gemma’s journey stands out because she emerged from a deep field. She raced against top names like Chelsea Gowland and Tanisha Thomas, yet she held her own. The Worcester Motocross Star demonstrated resilience and skill, closing races within mere seconds of the best. At Brookthorpe, her battle after a fall showed grit. At Lower Drayton, her performance in the final round revealed her rising potential.
Summary of Gemma’s Achievements
In summary, Gemma Holtham—our local motocross superstar—shined in 2022. She earned a coveted Pro-Class spot, claimed podium finishes, and finished second in the National Ladies Championship. Her season illustrated what a talented Worcester Motocross Star can achieve with dedication. Furthermore, her presence in a field of elite riders illustrated her ability to attract and justify Motocross Sponsorship interest.
