Charles Faram's big win at BeerX 2025

Best collaboration winners of SIBA BEERX

BeerX 2025 was unforgettable! We had a blast hosting both panel sessions — and we hope you did too. The event brought together great conversations and amazing people, both familiar faces and new ones.

Now, we’re heading home inspired, grateful, and proud — especially after winning Best Collaboration at the SIBA Business Awards 2025 with our fantastic friends at Bristol Beer Factory!

Best Collaboration SIBA Business Awards 2025

Known as the ‘Oscars of the beer industry’, the SIBA Business Awards celebrate excellence across brewing. They honour everything from standout design — pump clips, cans, and bottles — to innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, and success. Sunday Times columnist and beer author Pete Brown presented this year’s awards.

The winning beer was Brush Up Euro Lager — a crisp, light brew featuring Dana, Styrian Goldings, and Cardinal hops for bright floral, lemon, and pine notes. Even better, the team donated all profits to @upfest, a public art charity that sparks conversation, positivity, and social change.

Here’s what the BeerX judges had to say:

Best Collaboration: Charles Faram x Bristol Beer Factory

“Judges were hugely impressed by Charles Faram’s project to bring together a variety of brewing industry businesses including Crisp Malt, Bristol Beer Factory, Fermentis, and Barrow Tanks to brew a beer for Bristol charity event Upfest. A superb example of the collaborative spirit of the independent brewing sector.”

Massive thanks to everyone involved — and to all who stopped by for a chat at BeerX.

Next stop: The Brewery Resource this May. See you there!
